My European jaunt has begun and it's fabulous! I landed in London on Wednesday morning and had a tasty sushi lunch with Ms. Sara. That evening, a gaggle of us had dinner then drank the evening away in Islington. Vodka tonics? Check! Singing Mariah Carey's "Fantasy" in a bar? Check!
Yesterday, Ms. Sara and I flew over to Krakow and officially became The King and Queen of Krak. We love the prefix "Krak" more than painfree bikini waxes (There's no such thing). We explored the Market Square and had a very romantic buggy ride around town. That evening, we had dinner then danced the night away at some pop music club.
Things I've come to learn about Krakow from the club:
Straight Polish men love to dance to gay dance music.
A Reggaeton version of Ace to Base songs will really get a crowd going.
Smoking indoors is still awesome.
Grinding with short men is somehow acceptable.
Having a McDonald's across the street from a club is simply heaven at 2AM.
Today, Ms. Sara and I strolled through what must have been all of Krakow. I am now skinnier than Nicole Richie. Obviously. We're off to dinner and heavy cocktail consumption.
